Community Outreach

Redhouse Community Partnership and Outreach programming unifies and equalizes the Central New York community by engaging in discussions and partnerships to support diverse and underserved populations. Through performing and fine arts experiences, talkbacks and advocacy programming, participants engage in collaborative processes that promote an inclusive society.

Talkback Series and Discussion Events

The Redhouse strives to produce theatre that incites conversation. Talkback Sessions and Discussion Panels run for approximately 20 to 30 minutes immediately following performances.

Panels are comprised of theatre artists, area professionals, nonprofit support and advocacy groups, and members of the community at large, who discuss the underlying issues brought to light by our programming. Each group of panelists is specifically chosen to contribute their specialized expertise and/or personal experiences. Please check out our Main Stage and Theatre Experience show schedules for specific Talkback/Discussion themes and dates.

Positivity Project

The Redhouse is a proud partner of the Positivity Project, an organization that empowers America’s youth to build strong relationships and understand, appreciate and exemplify the character strengths in us all. All Redhouse educational programming, in tandem with these initiatives, strives to arm our students with a deeper understanding of character and an #OtherPeopleMatter mindset so that, together, we will create citizens and leaders who will enhance our communities and country.
