SUMMER LITTLES Week 4, July 27-31: Little Artists

A colorful program where little artists explore mediums of all kinds, movement, and imagination through joyful, hands-on creation. Students express their ideas freely, celebrate their unique style, and discover the magic of making art their own.
A playful, one-week theatre adventure designed for our youngest creators! In Littles Academy, students take a beloved children’s book and—with the guidance of our experienced instructors—adapt it into their very own original performance. Along the way, they’ll practice key soft skills like listening, collaborating, and sharing ideas, while also building foundational theatre techniques in singing, dancing, and acting.

“Bringing Books to Life” Animals and Nature
Animals and nature inspire play, exploration, and creative discovery. Students learn about local wildlife, uncover the wonders of the natural world through stories, art, and hands-on fun while bringing the outdoors into the Redhouse.
A playful, one-week theatre adventure designed for our youngest creators! In Littles Academy, students take a beloved children’s book and—with the guidance of our experienced instructors—adapt it into their very own original performance. Along the way, they’ll practice key soft skills like listening, collaborating, and sharing ideas, while also building foundational theatre techniques in singing, dancing, and acting.

“Bringing Books to Life” Filmmaking
A program where young creators dream up their own characters, stories, and mini-movies through film and animation. Students learn how ideas become products, pitch their projects like entrepreneurs, and bring their imaginative worlds to life on screen.

Little Rockers is back! Students explore rhythm, melody, and lyrics in fun, creative ways, ending the week with original tunes they can proudly share.

A fun-filled children’s program that explores the heart of Syracuse through art, stories, food, and adventure. Students celebrate the culture, history, and creativity of their city while building pride in the place they call home.

Redhouse offers in-house youth experiences for students of all abilities. We want to ensure that all students, no matter their learning style, are able to engage with the arts. If your student has a 504 or IEP, or needs additional support in the leaning environment, you can request additional instructional support for your child by contacting Education Department administration.
Student Services are provided in partnership with CNY ASA and Arc of Onondaga.
