School-Based Data and Project Manager

Reports to: School Partnership Director
Status: Full time, contractual.

Work Days: Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
**Hours may vary depending on projects
Compensation: $50,000 annual salary

CONTRACT PERIOD:

This is a contract position from the date of hire until June 30 with the possibility of renewal, pending a positive Performance Review and continued funding. In the case where vacancies occur, the contract begins from the date of hire.

Position Overview

The Redhouse 21st CCLC Project Manager will report to the School District Partnership Director and Director of Education and work alongside the education department team on a daily basis in order to ensure quality programming is being delivered to students.

Key Responsibilities

Duties and expectations including, but not limited to:

  • Assigning the workload amongst the team according to the program needs
  • Assisting Redhouse Ed. Dept. administration and Redhouse Team members in creating project timelines and expectations
  • Overseeing and entering any/all 21st CCLC require data on Pathwise Data Systems
  • Assisting in directly overseeing any/all clerical documentation as need (Pathwise, timesheets, robocalls, parents/guardian communication letters, timecards, etc.)
  • Working directly alongside school building clerical position – the SCSD clerical and Redhouse Project Manager should work collaboratively together and support one another
  • Working alongside any/all constituents including program evaluators (private and public), SCSD stakeholders, etc.
  • Discussing program goal expectations to any/all team members
  • Assist in the purchasing of any/all required materials for program
  • Help the Ed. Dept. administrative team define project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Define tasks and required resources to any/all project stakeholders and employees
  • Manage budget alongside the Director of Education
  • Allocate project resources as necessary
  • Create schedule and project timelines alongside the Director of Education
  • Lead quality assurance
  • Monitor and report on project progress to any/all stakeholders
  • Present to stakeholders on progress as well as problems and solutions
  • Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
  • Building and maintaining a professional relationship and rapport with the any/all program administration and staff
  • Responsible for attending and participating in regularly scheduled Redhouse/school administrator training and meetings, as needed
  • Maintaining effective communication with the Redhouse administrative team regarding staff, updates, questions/concerns
  • Work collaboratively across the education department and alongside the organization’s education and artistic, as needed
  • Other mission-based duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to lead a team, establish priorities, and contribute to a positive work environment that supports the production needs as well as overall Redhouse organization
  • Degree in or equivalent professional experience in educational administrative positions, a plus
  • Highly organized with strong work ethic
  • Knowledge of event systems and practices
  • Experience with facility maintenance and repair
  • Knowledge of audio and lighting systems
  • Reliable means of transportation
  • IT experience, preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Possesses skills to utilize the following software programs: Microsoft Office Suite and/or Pages; Internet Explorer/Safari; Google Calendar; cloud based storage systems, including Dropbox and Google Docs

Redhouse Arts Center After School Substitute Teacher

License/Certification: Professional Teaching Certification, not required

Position Type: Contract

CONTRACT PERIOD:

This is a contract position with the possibility of renewal and/or promotion, pending a positive Instructional Performance Review and continued funding (up to four years).

JOB SUMMARY:

The Redhouse Arts Center is a nonprofit, multi-arts organization dedicated to the production and presentation of interdisciplinary works, theatre, music, and education.

Redhouse After School Substitute Instructors will be responsible for working alongside other Redhouse Ed. Dept. staff, under the direct supervision of his/her/their Supervisor.

Redhouse After School Substitute Instructors will also be primarily responsible for following curricular plans provided, while developing positive relationships with students and staff. In addition to teaching assignments, instructional staff attend departmental, faculty, and instructional meetings, and participate in the overall development of Redhouse education programming.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Teaching/classroom management experience with students
  • Strong cultural awareness skills and the ability to present culturally relevant content to students
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, problem solving skills and demonstrated attention to detail
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team, in a self directed manner, ability to complete work, meet established deadlines in an accurate and timely manner
  • Ability to interact with program stakeholders by phone, email, and in person in a professional and personable manner
  • Ability to handle sensitive personal information with discretion
  • A professional, pleasant and resourceful attitude
  • SPECIFIC DUTIES:
  • Teach education courses, developing/following lesson plans, materials, and activities for classes
  • Evaluate student progress, maintaining records of attendance, student work, evaluation results, and preparing regular reports on student progress when necessary
  • Provide a classroom environment that is supportive of learning
  • Mentor and assist other colleagues in their specific area(s) of expertise represented in the curriculum
  • Attend faculty meetings and work in a cooperative and collaborative manner with colleagues
  • Engage in professional development required of Redhouse and District Administration

The Redhouse After School Teachers will be responsible for working alongside other Redhouse Ed. Dept. staff, under the direct supervision of his/her/their Supervisor. He/she/they may occasionally be required to communicate and work alongside the School District Partnership Director, as well as Redhouse’s Director of Education in order to ensure quality instruction is being delivered to students.

The Redhouse After School Teachers will also be primarily responsible for planning and teaching education courses within the curriculum set by Redhouse’s Director of Education and school district administration. In addition to teaching assignments, instructional staff attend departmental, faculty, and instructional meetings, and participate in the overall development of Redhouse education programming.
