DESCRIPTION:Turn up the volume on creativity in this immersive two-week music academy where young musicians come together to Record Original songs\, Collaborate with fellow artists\, and Kickstart their careers. Students will form bands\, write original music\, rehearse with guidance from professional musicians\, and record their tracks in our studio. \nThroughout the academy\, participants will strengthen their instrumental skills\, build confidence as songwriters\, and gain hands-on experience with gear\, sound setups\, and studio techniques. They’ll also learn the essentials of performing professionally—how to prepare for a gig\, protect equipment\, work with a venue\, and present themselves as emerging artists. \nThe program culminates in community performances and a final concert in our main theater space. StageREaDy is an intensive\, one-week academy designed to help students build polished\, competitive audition materials under the guidance of a professional creative team. \nActors will work one-on-one and in small groups with a director to develop strong monologues\, a music director to prepare 16-bar audition cuts\, and a choreographer to practice daily combinations that mirror real audition and callback expectations. A stage manager will guide students through crafting and maintaining a clean\, professional resume\, and each participant will receive high-quality headshots taken by our photographer. \nThe week culminates in a showcase where students share the work they’ve built.
