THEATRE
It's always the goal of The Red House to bring experiemental work by emerging artists to our intimate space. We would like to thank everyone for supporting the 2009-2010 theatre season. With performances by The Debate Society (A Thought About Raya) and Reggie Watts (Radioplay) from Brooklyn and CORPUS (Nuit Blanche) from Ontario, we've enjoyed a diverse mix of comedy, dance, and audio experimentation with the Central New York community.
While our regular season might be over, make sure to join us Saturday, March 27th for Ella, a one-night-only special addition to our repertoire. The Red House is proud to partner with local theatre group Austopista del Sur in this inaugural production, which will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles. Ella, written by acclaimed Argentine playwright Susana Torres Molina, unfolds a visceral story of desire, jealousy and vulnerability when two men discover they have the same mistress.
